Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has raised the reward for leads regarding the vanished canine Halo to £15k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, stated that the beagle was spotted in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
Halo, who disappeared on October 9th, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of her last known location.
"Any news concerning our beloved Halo kindly get in touch with us. Significant reward for finding her. We are all hoping she's ok and will return with us shortly," Ramsey posted on Instagram.
The footballer initially announced that his dog had gone missing two weeks ago and has since shared multiple pictures of the beloved pet on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar reward was initially offered, but with no news on Halo's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his family increased the reward.
"All we desire is our girl home," he expressed in another request on his online platforms after the decade-old pet was lost.
The most recent image post is a grayscale photo of the beagle snoozing, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I'd do to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Ramsey has additionally posted a statement from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have some "important questions" about the event and worry the household "may never get clarity".
"We still have not located Halo. It is unlikely we will," his wife's post stated.
The Welsh skipper joined Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly footballer is the first well-known British Isles athlete to play in the Mexico's top division.
